Helicopter Person

Are you a 'helicopter person?'  A person that tries to manipulate and control others?  That takes the role of, 'I know.  You don't know so I need tell you.  And then I need make sure you do what I said to do.'  You can do that in a very direct way or you can do that in more subtle ways.  Be concerned about the subtle ways, lest you be deceived.  I oversee everything you do, but I do it from a place of guidance and love.  And yes, I set boundaries, but I don't demand that you do something.  I invite you out of your relationship with Me to walk with Me.  To learn.  And I teach you gently.  Even when there are consequences when you do something I suggested that you don't do or I commanded that you not do.  When you're walking with Me in a relationship, you will sense in your heart when something is right or wrong.  And you will then learn to guide yourself in those principles because you know Me.  Seek to be more like Me when you're with others.  When you're guiding others.  Not from a place of control or pride or fear, but from a place of love and gentleness and gently guiding.  And then supporting when things go wrong because of bad choices.  Supporting that person to come back.  To come back where there is truth.  Come back to the narrow road.
