Stowaways

On a boat there may be stowaways.  Those that hide and are not seen.  They are along for the ride.  They reach the same destiny.  But they are stowaways.  There may be stowaways in your life as well.  Those who you do not see because they pretend to be something that they are not.  They pretend to be spiritual.  They pretend to be learned.  They pretend to be working.  They pretend a lot of things, but they are not.  They are stowaways along for the ride, deceiving those around them.  When you discover a stowaway, don’t be quick to throw them overboard.  Instead, challenge them.  Face them.  Call them out.  Because in that way you’re giving them a chance to change their ways.  I want them to change.  I want them to walk with Me.  So give them a chance.  Call others to help them.  And then, ultimately, it’s their choice whether to walk or run and hide.
