Forgive Others, Then I Can Forgive You
Word for May 12th, 2021
Forgive others, then I can forgive you. My Word specifically says that. That if you do not forgive others, I can't forgive you. You are very quick to say you forgive someone when you haven't gone through the process of forgiving them. When you come to Me; when you are convicted that you have thought or said or some other action that is sin, and then you come with a repenting heart, humbled before Me, crying out for Me, and you turn away from those things, then I receive you. I forgive you. I heal your land. That is the process. And you forgiving others is also a process. You need to forgive them for the way they have done wrong action to you or wrong action to others. To forgive them for not being who you wish they were in their behaviour and their actions because what they are doing, you take offence to, you are hurt by. So, sometimes I see you come to Me and say, "Father forgive me for my action and reaction to them," but you haven't forgiven them for their action towards you. When you humble yourself, then you see the other person from that same place that you are standing before Me. You say, "Father forgive Me." So, they may not be asking you to forgive them, but I have called you to forgive them. You don't like what they are doing. You don't like the impact it has on you. Forgive them for that. Humble yourself. Remember that your words and your actions very often are hurting others. And when you humble yourself, then you can relate to the person that you are upset with. You can see both of you before My Throne on your knees saying, "Father forgive me. Father forgive them." You forgiving them is key to you being forgiven. You forgiving them is acting in the place that I am in forgiving you. Forgive one another as I have forgiven you and I have done it for you all. Administer the gift of forgiveness to one another.
