I Want You to Examine What You Believe

What do you believe? I want you to examine what you are saying you believe. And the reason I say that to you today is that very often there is a Truth in the midst of what you say you're believing and you've taken that Truth and you've known it as Truth, but then you have framed it, you've put things around it, you've designed your own ideas or you've taken somebody else's ideas about what that means. And then you start believing, not just in the Truth, the essence of it, but you start believing in everything that you or others have put around it. And then it becomes distorted. Then you start believing and the more you speak it, the more you believe it, the more you think, 'This is the truth. The whole thing is the Truth,' but it, it is not. So I want you to look at the things that you believe and ask yourself, 'When did I believe that? When did I start wanting to understand it so much that I started thinking about it, or listening to other people's thinking about it and framed it in such a way that it became distorted?' Indeed, My Truth is still in the midst of that. My Truth is the part that has Life, that resonates as Life. The rest of it, man has constructed around My Truth. So go back to the original Truth. When you do what I've asked you to do…I will show you. Go deeper into My Word and go back to the origin of Me speaking to you. Don't be so quick because you become lazy, and just accepting everything you hear and thinking, 'Well that should be right. They're smarter than me. They've explored this more. They must be right.' So instead of you putting yourself in that position, to remember the Holy Spirit is in you. Test all things!
