Walk the Holy Walk with Me to Avoid the Potholes
Word for August 30th, 2021
You know very well when the shocks on your vehicle need to be replaced. You know that because you hit yet another pothole and instead of just bouncing a little and coming back up, there is a 'kathunk' and you really feel it. It really jars you. But [with] your new shocks, you sail over those. I want to remind you that every time you do go over a pothole with your new shocks, that that is wearing on them and eventually you go through enough potholes, enough bumpy roads and the shocks will lose their ability. It is not different on your Holy Walk. I've called you to walk the Holy Walk. I've called you to do that. Then it's a choice whether you walk that or not. When you are not walking how I've called you to walk, inevitably you're going to hit many potholes and you're going to feel the effects of that, for the death of not walking with Me becomes evident in your life - the wearing on you. The time spent recovering from those shocks and getting yourself back on the path I've called you to, that takes time...that takes effort...that is painful. I don't want you walking like that. I want you walking along the path of Holiness with Me. As you are going on that path whatever trials, tribulations are on that path, I'm guiding you around the potholes. I am leading you. Your eye will know where to go. But, as always, it's your choice what road you take. Take the road with Me! Stay on the Path!
