Resting is an Action

Resting is an action, for you have to choose to rest...resting in Me. There are many times you are caught in the doing, even the doing of things you are believing are Holy and you miss hearing Me call you to rest. You say to yourself, "Oh, I must be about My Father's business." Yes, that is true, but sometimes My business is calling you to rest so that I can restore you, so I can speak to you more deeply. I prepare you in new ways as you rest in Me. Sometimes that rest is for what you perceive is a short time and sometimes it's for a longer time. Embrace the resting. To do that, you have to let go of the distractions. Even the distractions you have set before yourself thinking, 'Oh, these are good distractions. They're not bad distractions.' Awww, but they are still distractions. So, at first when I call you to rest you're going to squirm around a bit because you have to learn to rest, to let go of other things and truly rest, to rest in Me. Rest when I call you to rest. Hear My Voice. Hear My Voice when I call you to rest. You just have to be listening, for My sheep do indeed hear My Voice. Listen!
